The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has announced this year’s “Operation Safe Driver Week,” scheduled for July 7-13. The focus will be on deterring reckless, careless, and dangerous driving behaviors among both commercial motor vehicle drivers and passenger vehicle drivers. During this week, law enforcement jurisdictions will increase traffic safety enforcement and issue tickets or warnings as necessary​.

CVSA is encouraging members of the motor carrier industry to participate actively by submitting data on their Operation Safe Driver Week activities. The organization has introduced a new online data submission form, which can be completed on any mobile device or computer. This form is available in English, French, and Spanish to accommodate a broad range of participants​​.

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) is a nonprofit organization composed of local, state, provincial, territorial, and federal commercial motor vehicle safety officials and industry representatives from across North America.
