Heniff Transportation Systems of Oak Brook, Ill., recently recognized five children of employees by awarding each a $5,000 renewable scholarship to pursue post-high school education at an accredited university or trade school.
The selections are awarded based on a combination of academic achievements, honors and awards, school and community involvement, strong leadership qualities and a statement of educational and career intent.
Over the past two years, Heniff Transportation has awarded $50,000 in financial assistance to children of employees.
