Tremcar delivers 1st propane truck for the North American market
3 propane delivery trucks in service, 12 more to come according to officials
Tremcar, an Ontario, Canada, supplier of fuel delivery trucks and aircraft refueling equipment for the North American market, recently manufactured and delivered its first propane delivery truck. Three units are now in service, with 12 more units scheduled to be manufactured next year, company officials said.
Tremcar Ontario has been testing and calibrating propane units since the service facility opened its doors in 2013, said Derrick Brommersma, general manager of Tremcar London, Ontario. Tremcar West in Edmonton followed suit in 2018 when it received its Transport Canada registration to service propane units.
“The next step was to get into the manufacturing business,” Brommersma said. “Greater demand from our customers in the energy industry generated the need to build and assemble bobtail tanks.”
Canada and Latin America Tremcar is in the process of building 12 stock units for the Canadian market, according to a press release.
“Our objective is to meet the demand of our current customers who are requesting these types of units in Canada and in Latin America,” said Daniel Tremblay, president of the Tremcar group.
