Cincinnati, OH – Dixon Bayco has released a new line of rugged, lightweight composite butterfly valves.
These composite butterfly valves are designed for the dry bulk transportation industry. The dry bulk industry requires a robust design to withstand the abrasion and corrosive environment on dry bulk trailers.
The reinforced composite body valves are an excellent alternative to the heavier, more expensive aluminum valves typically used to control product flows on dry bulk cargo tankers. Designed to be a drop-in replacement when it is time to upgrade existing aluminum valves, these composite valves are corrosion free and boast proven field reliability.
The reduction in weight resulting from switching to a composite butterfly valve allows for an increased cargo tanker payload.
The Bayco composite butterfly valves are available in 3”, 4”, and 5” with iron, aluminum or stainless steel discs and black or FDA compliant white Baylast™ rubber seats. They are in stock and ready to ship from our 14 distribution centers across the U.S. For more information call 877.963.4966 or visit dixonvalve.com.
