Delta Liquid Energy (DLE), a family owned propane marketing company with 10 locations throughout California and Nevada, is opening a new branch in Tehachapi, Calif., company officials announced recently.
Leading the branch will be Mike Custer, a Tehachapi resident who has worked in the propane industry the past 18 years. He has served as a delivery driver, serviceman and assistant manager. He was hired by DLE five years ago to manage its Bakersfield location.
Custer said he joined DLE because “this is a family owned company that places a high value on safety, as do I. Safety is Delta’s main concern – we check the home where your family lives to make sure it’s safe.’’
The Tehachapi office, which opened in January, is DLE’s eleventh retail location. Operated by family members for four generations, DLE is based in Paso Robles, Calif. The company has been in business since 1936 and operates wholesale and retail service facilities throughout California and Southern Nevada. More information is available at www.deltaliquidenergy.com.
